Frequently Asked Questions from authors like you

Our “Publish your book” service is comprehensive. It includes literary and spelling correction, content editing, cover design, layout, ISBN and legal deposit, digital and physical publication and advice on launch/promotion. Everything you need to get your book ready for the public.
Self-publishing: you cover the costs, make the creative decisions, retain all rights, and manage the publication (even if we help you). Co-publishing: a joint commitment is established for the success of the book. The Agency/Publisher assumes the costs of the editorial services and once the book is sold, recovers the investment. This is a free cost for the author. Traditional publishing: the publisher bears the costs, decides (partly) on the design/distribution, but normally the author gives up part of the control and receives royalties.
You as the author retain the copyright. The publishing service does not mean that you lose your rights. We always sign a contract or agreement that makes it clear which rights are assigned, which are used, and which remain exclusive to you.
A typical process could be described as follows: You send us the manuscript, already revised as much as possible. We evaluate what services you need (editing, design, layout...). We present you with a budget and timeline. We do the editing and corrections. We design the cover and layout the interior. We prepare the digital (ebook) and digital/physical formats. We obtain ISBN and legal deposit. Publication: printing, digital and/or physical distribution. Optional: advice for promotion/launch. Usually about 3/4 months of work.
It will depend on the plan you choose. We can offer additional launch services: campaign design, social media consultancy, press releases, reviews, etc. If you wish, we can include it in the budget.
We work with expert designers and typesetters, use high resolution files and images (300 dpi) and formats suitable for printing, apply professional typographic criteria and proofs (galley proofs/proofs) before the final version to ensure that everything - cover, layout and printing - comes out flawless.
Yes, we accept manuscripts that include colour illustrations, maps, graphics or special fonts as long as the files meet technical standards: high-resolution images, appropriate formatting (e.g. TIFF, JPG/TIFF in CMYK), licensed or converted to curved fonts, defined margins and bleeds to avoid cuts, and delivery of editable files. If the project has special requirements, we will inform you at the outset of the possible additional costs.
In order for a manuscript to enter our publishing programme, it must be finished; it must be submitted in an editable format (e.g. Word). In addition, we will not accept manuscripts whose story or subject matter incites hatred, gratuitous violence, self-harm, or content that promotes intentional harm to others.
