The Literary Retreat
A select group of writers gather in a secluded hotel in the forest to take part in a unique activity that promises, if they fulfil a series of requirements, to boost their literary careers.
The hotel is known precisely for its macabre past: legend has it that its doors were only open to the public for three months due to the number of “accidents” that occurred in its suites.
The organisers of the event - two eccentric but brilliant authors, allocate a room to each of the writers, and inform them that they will find in them a letter that tells them that part of the story that took place in that room some time ago.
The pitched battle activity is simple:
During the retreat, participants are required to write a novel of terror which is nothing more or less than their own scientific investigation into what happened. Authors whose story best fits the random circumstances and, obviously, has good coherence, intrigue and development, will move on to the next phase.
In the hotel there will be a character (a girl) who will be controlled by a member of the Infinity Ideas team, so the writers will have an internal chat (outside the novel) with which they will have conversations with that character. Then, they will have to add those conversations into the story.
These communications will be momentous and can change the course of history from one moment to the next.
As this is the second edition, participants will have to make use of information from the previous novel to integrate it into their stories.

It may be that... at some point... you have to escape from the hotel....
Infinite Collection
The winning works of all the editions will form part of the same collection. The winner of the first edition is currently being published.
4 ROUNDS - 30 PARTICIPANTS
In the Fourth Round, the five finalist novels will be published on the website so that they can be voted for by the public. Prizes cannot be cumulative, so that the winner of one of the first 3 prizes cannot win the «People's Choice» prize, which will go to the next most voted.
